Wow! I have found another book to add to my all time favorite books list. Walk Two Moons is a book my brother (a 5th grade teacher) has recommended to me for years and I finally read it over track out. I could NOT put it down.
Sal is a 13 year old girl who lives with her dad and grandparents. A couple of years back, Sal's mom decided she needed some time alone. She sent Sal postcards from various places to which she had traveled. Sal's grandparents decide to take Sal on a trip to those places and to find her mom. Along the trip, Sal shares an interesting story with her grandparents about her friend Phoebe, who has an intriguing tale of her own.
If you liked Ruby Holler, you will enjoy Walk Two Moons. Sharon Creech has written a story full of lively characters who will make you laugh, touch your heart, and make you not want the book to end. I highly recommend Walk Two Moons.
